Is anyone there?
to be completely honest, I have NO IDEA whether anyone reads this blog or not. With basketball season being over, you need not expect anymore posts about Ray Allen or UNC, but aside from those, I think this blog is pretty informative to the interested individual. You may not know who we are at bsbcbu but we've got some cool stuff in store for you coming up soon. I'd like to think we're pretty forward-thinking and genuine, but I guess that's for everyone else to decide. In the words of every street rapper in American right now "fuck with us", but seriously don't fuck with us. Like, we mean no harm. Nor do we mean to be incredibly ignorant.
P.S. Shawty Lo is probably the most lyrical rapper out of Atlanta. Ever. Serious.

Enough is enough...

Seriously. SERIOUSLY. I'm about to get on my soapbox and bitch so forgive me. If I hear one more person talk about how the NBA is fixed/rigged/fake/the WWE, I'm going to fucking snap. Why? Because I'm starting to believe it myself, and that's what scares me. The idea that the purest thing in my life (basketball) has been corrupted near beyond repair on it's grandest stage (the NBA). As if "the man" hasn't ruined enough, with all this steroid bullshit going on in baseball and the spygate shit in the NFL, could this really be happening in the NBA? Could the greatest show on Earth be tainted? I know a ton of people think Game 2 of the finals was fixed, being Leon Powe had 21 points, not to mention a halftime segment dedicated to him, but I don't find the foul discrepancies in that game to overshadow how bad it's been in LA. I just don't know what to think anymore. I'm probably not making much sense, either. However I have one suggestion. How about Boston and LA play with no referees? Street rules. We'll see who wants it more. I doubt Soft Gasol could handle that.

remember to breathe

Batstien Salabanzi is fuckin amazing. Originally from the French Congos I remember my first time seeing Bastien skate I think around 2000 I couldn't help but think how?? how could he do that? how could he make it look so clean and effortless? how?? To me he was a big step in the progression of skateboarding. Every contest he went to he amazed and dropped buttery video parts stuffed with full cab flips and huge backside flips. When I heard that he was no longer with his major sponsors I prayed that he wasn't pulling one of those old pro moves and just disappear (Drake Jones, Jovantae Turner, etc..) Rumors circulated, dead or heavy drug problems. But its said that he just lost his motivation to be here in the states and moved back to Europe to play music and get reconnected to his roots. Well its seems like he's connected

Don't Stop Believing...
So for all you naysayers who always thought I was crazy, hollering Journey lyrics at the top of my lungs, thinking "who's this Asian guy pretending to be Steve Petty?" I'd have you know that the new frontman of Journey, the man who has succeeded Steve Perry, is in fact an Asian guy. Yes, the lead singer of Journey is Asian. Arnel Penida. Youtube him.

Baton Rouge at it's stupidest
Lil Josh & Ernest Ft. Hurricane & Diamond JIGGA JUICE VIDEO
this might be the stupidest/funniest video ever out of Baton Rouge.
highlights: diamond from crime mobb and the two little boys dancing were pretty funny
lowlights (the condensed version): the song, the lyrics, the jigga pro, hurricane chris, ANOTHER energy drink from a rapper, the styling.
p.s. be on the lookout for ronny my's mixtape coming soon. full download will be available here.
