you've seen those rims before... haven't you? of course you have. they're the best selling rims ever. everyone has them. from soccer moms to dope boys. baby's mamas to grandmama's. you need a set of rims and want to be sure you'll see at least 40 different vehicles on the road with them, get these.

to be honest, I have no fucking clue what they're called, all I know is that they're the stupidest looking rims I've ever seen, and everyone, including this person who lives across the street from my grandmother (visiting on Easter sunday), has them. note: I'm going to try and blog at least once a day this week. I've got so much 'interesting' shit going on, I need to be doing that instead of just being such a lazy ass all the time. 

Since it's Sunday and I just finished watching the Celtics choke away would should have been the sweep game, had they not choked away game 1 as well, I'll show you what I've been working on lately... my health.

So what I do, is I drink roughly 2-3 protein shakes a day, as I am very lazy and do not like wasting 20-30 minutes cooking when a shake is healthy and takes about 5-7 minutes to prepare.

Personally, I like strawberry/banana, mixed with a little orange juice. I would tell you what's in that unlabeled white container, but that's my secret shit, so I got to keep it under wraps. Just know, it's not steroids... I keep those in a glass vial. If you have any good smoothie/shake recipes, please, by all means, indulge me.

I can't lie. I stopped listening to Max for a minute. I let his jigg music background blind my judgment for a minute. but I'm gonna be real. Max is the truth. If Baton Rouge really wants someone to stand behind... stand behind Max.

I've known Max for like 2 years now, met him at work, and he's always been 201% real. Down to earth, regular guy who can spit like it's nobody's business.

"And I Run....." part 2

So after hangin' with David, i decided that my journey has done a lot except for end. I walked out, took a sharp left and was on my way. Just a bit down the road is a bridge that goes over River Rd. I feel like it is a severely under-rated place. You can see pretty much, every place worth seeing while on it.




After my glorified sight-seeing mission to a place that I've seen many times, I decided that maybe this wasn't such a good place to start my introspection. Though, the site was a good place to waste some time which was goal number 1. On the way back, I though I would snap some shots of the good and not so good side of food in B.R.

Maybe it's all relative. Anyways, I went to a more familiar place; my studio on campus. It's not that cozy, but it gets the job done.




I Just wasn't feeling that place either. I blew that popsicle stand and headed back to the casa.



The welcome mat was out as usual. I guess I would have to complete the journey some other time. I need a vacation. May can't come soon enough. I did learn one thing out of all that, however. I learn that you need to be pro-active. If you get the urge to do anything, they only thing stoppin you is you.

"And I Run....." part 1

Well, I had the most boring day of my life. I sat around all day. I finally had enough and decided to do something. Around 1:00 a.m., I decided to go on an adventure around town.
I found myself walking downtown and came across the Shaw Center.

Outside were some mediocre yet, well timed fountains. While I was walking, I see this guy inside working on his new show that opens Tuesday.

He is David West. He's a cool dude. We had a long talk about live, love, and art over a cold Heineken. If you get the chance, then you should check out his show. Cool concepts and great visuals. After about an hour of chopping it up with him, I needed to continue my journey.

i don't think i've ever seen a paul walker movie i didn't like (i didn't see eight below).

from varsity blues to the fast & the furious to into the blue to fast & furious to now running scared, this dude is a good actor. 

people had been telling me to watch this flick, and i can't count the amount of times i've picked this up at blockbuster or picked it up in the $6.99 bin at wal-mart and then put it down. well i caved in tuesday and trust me... worth every penny.

i won't spoil it for those of you who haven't seen it, but it's a great flick. really good plot twists and turns, and you'll definitely be on the edge of your seat (cliche' i know, but seriously, this movie has moments that will make you want to fast forward because you GOT to know what happens).

since I wanted every color of a sneaker as bad as the yeezys?

seriously, I've been buying/wearing/"collecting" (used loosely) sneakers for like... 15 plus years now... and no one shoe has made me want every single color released like the Yeezy... not since the Air Jordan XI (1996)...

above are the 'concert edition' (deemed by nike) air yeezy, on display at the opening of Nike - TPE 6453 Boutique in Taipei.

also on display were the zen grey yeezy (released last weekend, I own) as well as the black/pink pair (releasing may 2nd, will get).

i'm not going to even pretend i'm mr. too cool on this one... if this color yeezy drops... or even possibly the 'grammy edition' all black joints... count me in for 2 pair... and i don't do that anymore.
