so apparently nike has it figured out for 2k9. how do we sell functional basketball sneakers now that basketball sneakers themselves have become more fashion > function? simple, we'll create nostalgic colorways dating back to late 80s-early 90s classic films.
if you're unfamiliar with where i'm going with this, last year, nike released this shoe, the hyperdunk, as its newest, lightest, revolutionary basketball shoe.

along with doing a slew of olympic colorways for its foreign sponsored teams, as well as player editions for the nba's elite, it released a back to the future inspired pair, simply deemed the hyperdunk 2015 "mcfly". released in a rumored low of 350 pair worldwide, the mcfly hyperdunk is a very sought after sneaker.
so this year, to create hype for their newest shoe, the hypermax, nike is once again throwing it back to martin mcfly with another b.t.t.f.2 inspired colorway.

so i know for a fact josh is going to want a pair of these. he still complains about the lack of availability of the hyperdunk mcflys (him and everyone else)... and since nike is never going to release the actual air mag's... this is your best bet. and here's the kicker... they're rumored to be a relatively GENERAL release. which means YOU can get them!
