i don't know if that shit has changed over the years, but i wasn't impressed. shit was like a big hype convention... or a "sneakerhead" gathering. everybody dressed in their best "streetwear" trying to look super "fresh". I don't know.
the brands on display were very disappointing. it really says a bunch about the state of fashion as a whole.
i'm not even going to go into detail, i'll just say i was disappointed and leave it at that. assume what you will. however, my dude B was photographed NUMEROUS times by fashion magazines from all over the globe, and it was funny because one girl even kicked us out of the photo.
las vegas:
vegas, i could have used another day or so to really enjoy my trip. it was raining half the time i was there and the other half i was working so it was really hard to enjoy it. however, the nightlife in vegas was very re:freshing (literally and ironically). i went out with my re:fresh family from new orleans monday night, and we hit XS in the Encore, the most expensive nightclub ever built, which was extremely nice inside and outside (yeah, it overlooks a pool area)
it's always the same with re:fresh. no lines, no crowds, no bullshit. we got a table and enjoyed our night with some grey goose, red bull, fiji, juices and nice women. if you're ever in vegas, i suggest you indulge yourself with the nightlife, even if you can't afford to buy bottles and shit, it's definitely a nice atmosphere compared to a alot of places.
