This person in the image above is a complete moron. Normally this is as much time as I would spend on this matter but I am sick of him whining. First I would like to say hip-hop is fine. This "state" they talk about is bullshit. Soulja Boy does not do hip hop, he is a pop artist. Apparently a pop artist that cannot take the fact that he is fading into irrelevancy and is lashing out against music industry. He was on the DJ Skee's show saying that " if Nas would have never put out the album "hip hop is dead", today hip hop would be in a better state than it is." Hip hop does not revolve around Nas, first. Second, it's not hip hop's fault he is not selling; it's the mom's and dad's feeling the recession and not giving their 12 year old 20 bucks to go buy his garbage album. Third, hip hop is fine, in fact here are some hip hop artists that should be checked out..... Wale, Kid Kudi, Drake, Little Brother, Apathy, Hilltop Hoods, and MF Doom to name a few. Emphasis on a "Few". I feel like I have said too little and too much at the same time.(insert absurd catch-phrase here)
